Interfaith Ministry
Interfaith Ministry helps those in the greater Modesto area who are in need of food, clothing and other humanitarian services. Auto & Fleet Mechanic provide financial support, Christmas gifts and pajamas for kids through a pajama drive, and birthday gifts along with party supplies for kids who wouldn't otherwise have a gift or party.
Attached are pictures of the last birthday gifts we sent over through the Birthday Box ministry. The Birthday Box idea was started by a group of kids at a local high school who wanted to provide a community outreach. Great idea!

Shower Shuttle
Shower Shuttle - The current shuttle provides 600 showers, meals, and clean underwear and socks a month to homeless in Modesto. Several people have gone to a job interview following a shower, were offered a job, and able to get off the streets. Great ministry!

"Restoring hope and dignity to those in need"
WHO WE ARE
Cleansing Hope Shower Shuttle is an outreach ministry of What Would Jesus Do Ministries, Inc. We are a true "hand up", ministry, taking our mobile buses to the most impoverished areas of Stanislaus County. It is a basic human right to be clean, and yet for thousands of homeless and working-poor men, women, and children in our community, it remains an unmet need. We seek to restore hope and dignity by providing hot showers and a shave station, along with clean socks, underwear, and hygiene kits. But most importantly, we offer compassion and friendship. We seek to rehumanize those who have been hopeless and without for far too long. Ifs amazing how something as simple as a hot shower can improve ones day and outlook on life.
WHO DO WE SERVE
Everyone who needs a hot shower, a fresh shave, and clean socks and underwear. Our guests are from 1 to 85 years of age. Some are between jobs, or sleep in their cars. Some stay temporarily on couches of friends, or sleep in parks or doorways. Approximately 2/3rds of our guests are men, 1/3rd are women, but ALL of our guests are seeking a way to feel better about themselves and their current situations. But more than just offering a shower, we offer compassion and restored hope and dignity by recognizing that being clean is the first step to reestablishing a sense of normalcy. Once a consistent routine of cleanliness is established, we have seen successes in gaining employment, renewed relationships, and improvement in living situations.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
You can help by donating!
We are a very small ministry doing all we can for those in need. We receive no govemment funding and rely completely on donations. If not for generous people donating financially or providing socks, underwear, and/or cleaning and disinfecting products, each shower would cost about $5 per shower. Each of our buses provide approximately 500 showers per month. We will not be able to continue to provide this vital service without faithful donors like YOU!
We need volunteers!
We depend on our volunteers to help bless our guests by giving a few scheduled hours weekly or monthly. The extra hands, the additional smile, the willingness to share a part of one's day can make the difference between running our buses or having to miss offering showers to those in desperate need.
Volunteers make the difference,
Things you can do...
...donate financially
...donate new or gently used (clean) socks and underwear
...volunteer a few scheduled hours on one of our buses per week or per month
...visit and contribute from our "Current Needs° List on our website
...pray for us to continue to be a beacon of hope and dignity for those in need
