Bob Harvey is where Auto & Fleet Mechanic began over 30 years ago. He is ASE Certified and too many other certifications to list here. “Turning a wrench” has always been his passion, but as time went by and the business expanded he’s moved into managing and allowing “the younger staff” to do the actual “wrenching”.
Bob raced an ’84 Mustang GT and has worked on just about everything over the years. He’s partial to Ford’s, due in part to the years he spent working at Fremont Ford and Codorolli Ford before going into business for himself. He became known for his exceptional work on the Ford 6.0 & 6.7 diesel trucks, as well as Chevrolet, Dodge 7 Ram. Bob’s first car was a 1976 Ford step-side pick-up. His dream car is a 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback with a 428 Cobra Jet engine and a 4-speed.
Bob & Judi have a great story, Judi was the “girl next door”. And Bob was that nice neighbor “who fixed cars”. They share a love for the Lord, family, motorsports, business and travel. Together they are parents to Gregg, Robert and Breanne. His favorite food is pizza and his favorite cookies are Peanut Butter Blossoms.
Judi Harvey has been with Auto & Fleet Mechanic since the beginning as Bob’s supporter, confidant and business partner. She loves cars, racing and all things motored almost as much as Bob. The only thing they don’t share is Bob’s love of Ford’s. Judi is GM girl, especially Chevrolet’s. Her dream car is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro.
Judi was in law enforcement prior to meeting Bob. They met when they lived next door to each other. Judi needed some repair work on her car. Bob repaired the “rough idle” on her car and added four new tires, at no charge. Judi knew for sure Bob was a keeper, and the rest is “history”. Together Judi & Bob have 3 children, Gregg, Robert and Breanne. Judi loves the Lord, hanging out with family and friends and going to any beach where the water is warm. Her favorite food is Greek.
Breanne Harvey has motor oil in her blood and loves it! The youngest child of Auto & Fleet Mechanic owners, Bob & Judi Harvey, Breanne is a student at MJC. When she’s not in school Breanne works at the shop helping in the office. While she’s most comfortable in boots and jeans, Breanne successfully cheered competitively for over 10 years.
Breanne takes after her Dad and loves Ford’s. Her dream vehicle is an F-250 7.3 truck. She loves “mudding” and hamburgers & French fries.
